PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gastrin secretion inhibitor and a gastric acid secretion inhibitor originating from a daily taken natural product so as to enable the safe and simple intake of the inhibitors. ;SOLUTION: The gastrin secretion inhibitor and the gastric acid secretion inhibitor each contains tea catechin or an extract obtained by extraction-treating Camellia sinensis L. leaves with hot water, an organic solvent or their mixture. The intake of the gastrin secretion inhibitor or the gastric acid secretion inihibitor enables the inhibition of the secretion of gastrin in a gastric body, the inhibition of the excessive gastric acid secretion and the prevention of digestive system diseases such as gastritis, duodenal ulcer, stomach ulcer and stomach cancer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
