PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered shrinkage fit joining body made of an Fe series sintered alloy having high joining strength in the case of practically using it as various automotive structural parts. ;SOLUTION: In a sintered shrinkage fit joining body made of an Fe series sintered alloy composed of a wear resistant Fe series sintered alloy member and a tough Fe series sintered alloy member, the wear resistance Fe series sintered alloy member is composed of an Fe series sintered alloy having a compsn. contg., by weight, 6 to 10% Ni, 0.6 to 1.5% Mo, 0.3 to 0.8% C and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and exhibiting shrinking performance at the time of sintering and the tough Fe series sintered alloy member is composed of an Fe series sintered alloy having a compsn. contg. 4 to 6% Cu, 0.3 to 0.8% C and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and exhibiting expanding performance at the time of sintering.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
