PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing device which enables a simple weighing of a sample and analyzing thereof simultaneously without separating the sample into another container nor making and fixing a reagent layer separately. SOLUTION: In this testing device 51, a reagent is held at a specified position within a capillary tube having a test liquid introduction port 54 and exhaust ports, a test liquid is introduced from the introduction port 54 to be reacted with the reagent so that a specified component in the test liquid is analyzed by the reagent. In this case, the capillary tube 53 has a first hydrophilic region 531 in which the test liquid is moved to the reagent from the test liquid introduction port 54, a second hydrophilic region 533 of a fixed area for holding the reagent and a hydrophobic region 532 which is arranged to separate the first hydrophilic region 531 and the second hydrophilic region 533 while communicating with the exhaust ports not via the first hydrophilic region 531 and the second hydrophilic region 533. The exhaust ports 55 and 58 are arranged respectively at a position near the first hydrophilic region 531 on one side of the capillary tube 53 and at a position near the second hydrophilic region 533 on the other side of the capillary tube 53 sandwiching the hydrophobic region 532.
