MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR NC MACHINE TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance management system for an NC machine tool which can surely obtain maintenance information on a shipped NC machine tool in real time and can immediately deal with a problem occurring to the shipped machine tool. SOLUTION: To perform maintenance for the NC machine tool 10 by providing a computer for management which is connected to the NC machine tool 10 through a communication line 30 and has a maintenance information storage area, a parameter lock reset key request signal is sent from the NC machine tool 10 to the computer 20 for management and after a parameter lock reset key is received from the computer for management, the parameters of the NC machine tool 10 unlocked and altered; and maintenance information including alteration information on the parameters is sent to the computer 20 for maintenance through the communication line 30 and recorded in the maintenance information storage area of the computer 20 for management every time when the maintenance information is sent.
