PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve rod cooling structure for a valve which can reduce flow passage resistance and temperature nonuniformity of a valve rod. ;SOLUTION: A partitioning block 23 is formed along flow direction of a supply flow passage 27 in the gradually diameter expansion shape, an exhaustion communicating chamber for communicating a diffusion flow passage 25 with an exhaustion pipe 26 is formed in this partitioning block 23 along the flow in the diffusion flow passage 25 in the gradually diameter shrinkage shape, a supply communicating chamber for communicating the supply flow passage 27 with an introducing pipe 24 is formed in the exhaustion communicating chamber concentrically and along the flow in the supply flow passage 27 in the gradually diameter expansion shape, an exhaustion outlet is opened around the supply communicating chamber on a behind end surface facing the diffusion flow passage 25 of the partitioning block 23, and a supply inlet is opened in the slit shape with a constant angle interval on a behind-end-side outer- peripheral surface facing the supply flow passage 27 of the partitioning block 23. Thus, pressure loss can be restrained, and cooling flow smoothly flows through the diffusion flow passage 25 in a rectifying condition to cool a valve rod 21 nonuniformly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
