PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally actuated switch with few manufacturing man- hours, with which a small-sized and lightweight electrical appliances can be manufactured. SOLUTION: The switch has a case 1 equipped with a fixed contact part 1c, a bimetal plate 4 equipped with a plate-spring inversion part 4b which is inverted at a prescribed primary temperature or over and with a movable contact part 4a, and a thermosensitive member 3 which is installed as it covers a part of the bimetal plate 4 and which is a solid at a normal temperature but is changed to a liquid at a prescribed secondary temperature or over which is higher than the primary temperature, and is so composed that the plate-spring inversion part 4b is inverted over the primary temperature and the movable contact part 4a is released from the fixed contact part 1c, and also the thermosensitive member 3 is changed to a liquid at the secondary temperature or over and the movable contact part 4a is released from the fixed contact part 1c.
