PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foreign matter from being conspicuous inside the visual field even when it sticks on an optical element or a display member by specify ing the ratio between converted spatial distance on an optical axis from a pattern display plane to the surface of an optical eyepiece system nearest to the side of an object and the focal distance of the optical eyepiece system. ;SOLUTION: Inside a prism P, a pattern display plane IE located on the side of the optical eyepiece system rather than an image forming plane IM of an optical objective system while having a mirror pattern and a half mirror plane HM located on the side of the object rather than this pattern display plane IE for transmitting one part of light flux from the object side and reflecting light flux reflected from the pattern formed on this pattern display plane IE again are provided. Then, the conditional expression of 0d1/fc≤0.1 is satisfied.
