PRODUCTION OF POWDERED HINOKI WOOD KNOT CONTAINING PINE LEAF POWDER AND RHODODENDRON LEAF POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the process for storing a powder of HINOKI (a kind of white cedar) wood containing many knots in order to use it as foods or beverages. SOLUTION: White cedar knots-containing wood is crushed into powder of particle sizes suitable for its use, then the powder singly or a mix thereof with pine needle leaves and rhododendron leaves is tightly stored in the vessel together with an oxygen scavenger and a desiccant. This product can be served as a beverage or can be mixed with other powdery food products and served as 21 food or can be hung in the room for forest bating. Further, 21 small bag is filled with the product and dipped in a bath for enjoying herb bath of HINOKI flavor.
