METHOD FOR CT POST-PROCESSING OF CT IMAGE AND CT TO ACT ACCORDING TO THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to correct ring artifact in an reorganized CT image in a form of image post-processing, by post-processing the CT image in a way that pixel values of a whole or a part of the measurement field of the CT image suffers from one or more media filtering or averaging. ;SOLUTION: A patient 4 is positioned on a patient bed 5. Measurement units 1, 3 for scanning the patient 4 are rotated for scanning in 360° around a measurement field 9 on which the patient 4 is positioned. The rotation axis line is shown in a reference mark 10. At that time, an X-ray source 1 is actuated in pulse radiation or continuous radiation by an X-ray generator 6. Data sets are generated at prescribed angle positions of measurement units 1, 3 and the data sets are supplied through a detector to a computer 7. The computer 7 calculates attenuation coefficient of prescribed image points from a generated data set and an image is displayed on a display 8.
