PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid treatment apparatus capable of treating a used emulsion type water-soluble coolant liquid while keeping stability and causing no corrosion in good work environments and carrying out chemical treatment and pressurizing flotation treatment by a single apparatus. ;SOLUTION: A flotation separation tank 1 comprising a scraper 2 for discharging flocs in an upper part, a supply aperture 20 for supplying a chemical agent, a used liquid, air, etc., in a lower part, and a discharge route 22 for discharging a treated liquid is installed. A measurement tank 16 communicated with the flotation separation tank in a lower part, enabled to receive a used liquid, and comprising measuring apparatuses 14, 15 is also installed. Further, a buffer tank 17 for storing the excess used liquid from the measurement tank and a circulation route 25 for sending the used liquid in the buffer tank to the flotation separation tank are installed.
