PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high pulverization efficiency at all times and to eliminate the loss by mill clogging by easily finding out optimum pulverization conditions when a change occurs in the ease of crushing and grain size of feedstock for pulverization and the grain size specifications of products and controlling a closed circuit pulverization system according to thereto. ;SOLUTION: The pulverization characteristic of the feedstock existing in a pulverizing machine is determined in accordance with a feedstock supply rate P to the pulverizing machine, a transportation rate Q of the pulverized material from the pulverizing machine to a classifying machine or the return rate R of the coarse power returned from the classifying machine to the pulverizing machine degree S of the pulverized material.
