STONE FOR CONSTRUCTION AND BUILDING FROM PYROCLASTIC FLOW DEPOSIT, AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a stone for the interior and the exterior (use such as a roof, a ceiling, a floor, a wall, stairs, a bathtub, a transom, a screen, fittings and furniture) in materials for construction and building by gathering pyroclastic flow deposit, compacting the gathered pyroclastic flow deposit to provide a shape with a prescribed size and heating the compact. ;SOLUTION: A stone for the interior and the exterior (use such as a roof, a ceiling, a floor, a wall, stairs, a bathtub, a transom, a screen, fittings and furniture) in materials for construction and building is produced by gathering pyroclastic flow deposit. A sand-like material in the pyroclastic flow deposit is kneaded with a suitable amount of a binder added thereto and dried to provide a compact and a coagulated material is cut as it is. The obtained compact or the cut material is dried and heated to provide the objective stone for the interior and the exterior (the use such as the roof, the ceiling, the floor, the wall, stairs, the bathtub, the transom, the screen, fittings and furniture) in the materials for the construction and the building.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
