PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device accurately measuring a steam leakage quantity of a disc type steam trap. ;SOLUTION: A steam leakage quantity measuring device for a steam strap is provided with a probe 1 with a built-in vibration detecting means and a device main body 2 processing a detected vibration signal from the probe 1. The device main body 2 is provided with a CPU 6 and a storage unit 7. The storage unit 7 stores relation between an operation cycle of the disc type steam trap and a steam leakage quantity. As to the relation between an operation cycle and a steam leakage quantity, the steam leakage quantity is reduced lower as an operation time becomes longer, and the steam leakage quantity is increased higher as an operation frequency is increased higher. The CPU 6 detects an operation time and an operation cycle such as an operation frequency in a predetermined time of the disc type steam trap from the fed vibration signal so as to compute a steam leakage quantity from the detected operation cycle and the relation between an operation cycle and a steam leakage quantity previously stored in the storage unit 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
