BARRIER RIB VISUAL INSPECTION EQUIPMENT AND BARRIER RIB VISUAL INSPECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable visual inspection of barrier ribs of a region in a wide range of a plasma display, in a short time. ;SOLUTION: Barrier ribs 2 formed on a plasma display substrate 1 are irradiated from the oblique direction with a light from a light source 12. Shadow of the barrier ribs 2 are formed on the plasma display substrate 1 by the irradiation light. The state of the shadows is photographed with a camera 11. The barrier ribs 2 are estimated on the basis of the irradiation state of light from the light source 12 and the situation photographed with the camera 11. That is, the barrier ribs are estimated by using a reflected light of shadow, and visual inspection of the barrier ribs 2 of a region in a wide range of the plasma display is enabled in a short time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
