PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject covering material having high heat retaining properties and heat storage properties, capable of providing high-quality citrus fruits in a high yield, comprising a knitted fabric composed of a spun yarn. ;SOLUTION: This covering material comprises a knitted fabric composed of a spun yarn. In the covering material, the spun yarn is constituted of a synthetic yarn containing carbon particles and contains ≥0.002 wt.% of the carbon particles based on the weight of the knitted fabric.
