DATA BASE RETRIEVAL SYSTEM, MULTIPROCESSOR SYSTEM AND DATA BASE RETRIEVAL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a processor resource and to shorten the retrieval time of data bases for retrieving the plural data bases. SOLUTION: The data base 3 is divided into the plural divided data bases. The divided data bases are retrieved by retrieval processes for the respective data bases generated in a retrieval control part 1. An estimate table storage part 2 stores an estimate table as the table where the resource allocation of the processor resource whose retrieval processing quantity is estimated is set for the divided data bases of the data base 3. The retrieval control part 1 allocates the processor resource in accordance with the estimation of the retrieval processing quantity of the divided data bases in the data base 3 based on a retrieval request from a client C, generates and executes the plural retrieval processes for retrieving the necessary divided data bases, collects/synthesizes/ sorts retrieval results by the retrieval processes and returns it to the client C.
