PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current lead provided by the degas countermeasure to prevent the degas from a nickel coated conductor under vacuum environment. ;SOLUTION: Forming a titanium coating layer 21 covering a nickel coated conductor 11 of a current lead 20 placed in vacuum environment makes it possible to deter a degas from the nickel coated conductor 11 of the current lead 20 and prevent the gas discharge in the vacuum. Keeping the cross-sectional area of the titanium coating layer 21 0.001 percent or more to 1 percent or less of the cross-sectional area of the nickel coated conductor 11 makes it possible to prevent the penetration of gas through the titanium coating layer 21 and crack of the titanium coating layer 21 caused by thermal stress.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
