PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent giving an unnecessary unpleasant feeling by applying a deodorant to the inside of a feces sampling container or causes it to contain a deodorant, or putting a deodorant in an envelope, bag, etc., to be used on the occasion of mailing or conveying the feces sampling container. SOLUTION: A gelled deodorant is applied and fixed to the periphery of the opening and closing part for taking feces in and out and the inside of the threaded part of a feces sampling container and the dent inside the container, etc., and a deodorant is added directly to a preserving solution, when the preserving solution is put in the feces sampling container. On this occasion, the components of the deodorant should be those which do not adsorb or decompose objective materials to be inspected, and besides do not interfere the detection of the materials being objects to be inspected, by reaction impediment, reaction promotion, germicidal ability, etc. For example, a HEPES NaOH buffer solution, a tris HCl buffer solution, a phosphate buffer solution, etc., are used as a preserving agent, and one or a plurality combined out of a concentrated dry-distilled plant component, a graft copolymer deodorant, a metal oxide complex silicagel, etc., are used as a deodorant. Consequently, it becomes possible to suppress the smell of feces on the occasion of conveyance, storage, pretreatment, inspection, etc.
