PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method of a vertical slab in which the vertical slab which can not be easily formed in a cantilever beam-form retaining wall, can be easily produced and also provide a construction method of a retaining wall in which a cantilever beam-form retaining wall body can be easily constructed in the construction site. ;SOLUTION: A form 10 for molding a vertical wall are horizontally assembled and ready-mixed concrete C is filled in the form 10 in the state that counterfolt blocks 6 separately molded are arranged in the form 10. In this way, a vertical slab 3 that the vertical wall 5 is integrally formed with the counterfolt blocks 6 can be formed. The vertical slab 3 with counterfolt blocks is self-supported in the construction site of the retaining wall and the lower part of the vertical slab 3 is surrounded by forms 15 for forming the bottom slab and ready-mixed concrete C is placed in site into the forms 15 to form the frame body 1 of a cantilever beam-form retaining wall.
