PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously inspect the wear of the packing of a plurality of atmospheric pressure actuators. ;SOLUTION: A stop valve 50 arranged between an inflow passage 52 and an inflow passage 54 is changed over so as to stop air inflow/outflow. Pressure in the inflow passage 54 under this initial condition is measured. After that, when a predetermined time is passed away, pressure in the inflow passage 54 is measured again, and compared with pressure in the initial condition. Pressure after lapse of the predetermined time is judged whether or not it is lowered to a large extent, and when it is lowered to the large extent, namely, when the seal packing of any actuator is abraded and pressure is lowered by air leakage, the wear of the seal packing and the abnormal leakage of a system are detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
