PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin composition used for SF₆-insulated equipment, exhibiting a stable electrically insulating property in the decomposed gas of SF₆, having a small thermal expansion coefficient and having excellent mechanical characteristics by charging calcium silicate fibers in an epoxy resin as a part of reinforcing materials. ;SOLUTION: This epoxy resin composition used for SF₆-insulated equipment is obtained by charging calcium silicate fibers (preferably having an average fiber diameter of 0.5-5 μm and an average fiber length of 10-50 μm) preferably in an amount of 5-50 wt.% and preferably further alumina powder preferably in an amount of 10-60 wt.% as a part of reinforcing materials.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
