PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fretting damage of a wheel side hook of a steam turbine rotor of an outside tab table type so as to prolong the life thereof. ;SOLUTION: Blades 3, 3' are formed in their embedding parts 5 on the inside of the latter with blade side hooks 5a to 5c which are adapted to be meshed with wheel side hooks 2a to 2c, respectively. Surfaces 20a to 20c of the wheel side hooks 2a to 2c, on the inside thereof as viewed in a direction radial of a wheel 1, have parts (parts A) which are adjacent to blades 3A between which wheel side hooks 2a to 2c are interposed, and which are formed therein with recesses 10 for preventing the wheel side hooks 2a to 2c from making contact with the outer surfaces 50a to 50c of the blade side hooks 5a to 5c. Each of the recesses 10 has a curved surface which makes contact, at its opposite end parts as viewed in the circumferential direction of the wheel 1, with the outer surface of the associated one of the blade side hooks 5a to 5c, substantially tangential to the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
