PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resolution while using texture of small size. SOLUTION: An image processing processor 12 when pasting a texture on a polygon connects a texture read out of a RAM 8 and the mirror-inverted texture of the texture into one texture and pastes it on each polygon. Thus, the texture read out of a texture storage means and the inverted texture obtained from the texture through mirror-surface inversion are connected together and pasted on each polygon as one texture to double the size of the texture equivalently although the textures having the same line drawing patterns is used, thereby improving the resolution. Consequently, a smooth curved line image is formed.
