PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a windshield capable of preventing extinction of candle light even of the candle becomes short by surrounding an sprightly erected candle with a cylindrical mesh plate and uprightly installing the mesh plate in a manner that the mesh plate can be fitted. ;SOLUTION: While surrounding an uprightly erected candle 2, a cylindrical mesh plate 1' shaped by rolling a mash plate 1 by hands is uprightly installed in a manner that the mesh plate can be fitted, so that an air to the candle is shielded to prevent extinction of the flames of the candle 2. Since air is ventilated even in the lower part of the cylindrical mesh plate 1' based on the ventilative property of the mesh plate 1, the flames are never extinguished even of the candle 2 becomes short. Without being bulky, a large number of mesh plates 1 in a flat state are overlapped and easy to be transported. Since such a mesh plate 1 can be rolled by hand, a cylindrical mesh plate 1' is easily formed and used as a windshield for a candle 2.
