TREATMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMICAL CONTAMINANT WITH NADPH-CYTOCHROME P450 REDUCTASE OR MICROORGANISM MANIFESTING THIS REDUCTASE AND DEVICE THEREFOR, AND MICROORGANISM PREPARATION
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently decomposable an azo compd. or an org. chlorine compd. by decomposing a chemical contaminant with the NADPH-cytochrome P450 redactase at a specified temp. range. ;SOLUTION: The contaminant is decomposed with the NADPH-cytochrome P450 redactase or a transforming microorganism producing this redactase. A treating temp. at this time is 20-50°C, preferably 25-40°C, more preferably 30-35°C. The NADPH-cytochrome P450 redactase efficiently decomposes the contaminant at such a specified temp. range. And, since the NADPH-cytochrome P450 redactase decomposes efficiently the contaminant even in the presence or absence of oxygen, either aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria are usable as a transforming microorganism. The transforming microorganism obtained by this way is formulated by drying, etc., and may be used by scattering, etc., to a contaminated water or a contaminated soil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
