PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purge device for a fuel supply device of a gas turbine, for using new fuel after blowing fuel and air previously used out of a system, in such a case that different kinds of fuel are selectively used, and a method of operating thereof. ;SOLUTION: A purge device for a fuel supply device in a gas turbine comprises a fuel supply system 14 for supplying fuel into a fuel nozzle 13 in a gas turbine burner 12, an air supply system 15 for supplying air into the fuel nozzle 13 in the gas turbine burner 12, and an inert gas supply system 16 for supplying inert gas into the fuel supply system 14 and the fuel nozzle 13. Further, in a method of operating the purge device for the fuel supply device in the gas turbine, inert gas is supplied from the inert gas supply system 16 into the fuel supply system 14, and after air is supplied from the air supply system 15 into the fuel nozzle 13 in the gas turbine burner 12, inert gas is supplied from the inert gas supply system 16 into the fuel nozzle 13 in the gas turbine burner 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
