METHOD FOR TROUBLESHOOTING EARLIER FAULT OF TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER OF RADIO BASE STATION AND ITS SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and its system for early troubleshooting of the fault of a transmitter-receiver in which an active transmitter-receive or a standby one is selected in turn for each prescribed period in hour-unit or day-unit and the selected transmitter-receiver is to check to see if faults exist, so that a faulty standby transmitter-receiver is restored to an operating state in time, thereby avoiding line interrupt. SOLUTION: A switching signal generating circuit 101 changes over an active or a standby transmitter-receiver periodically to supply power to the transmitter- receiver sets periodically. On the occurrence of an alarm, a state monitoring and control signal generating section 103 receives a state report signal from the transmitter-receiver to recognize the contents of the alarm and holds the alarm, without making a reset operation for the alarm accompanied with power-on.
