PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice field ridge making machine, capable of tightening ridges between rice fields without being affected by different soil types, weather or the like, and useful for, e.g. development of ridges by providing a rotary compressing body which can tighten soil raised by a soil-raising mechanism. ;SOLUTION: This rice field ridge making machine is equipped with (A) a soil-raising mechanism on a machine frame, connected to a movable machine body by a connecting mechanism, and (B) a ridge-making mechanism on the machine frame at the rear of the soil-raising mechanism, which can tighten soil raised by the soil-raising mechanism on an existing ridge by means of a rotary compressing body 49, to make a new ridge on the existing one. It is preferable that the machine is equipped with a mechanism, freely adjustable in the vertical direction, for forming a raised soil holding section K on one side of the existing ridge.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
