PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing jerry containing extract of Acanthopanax sieboldianum obtained by mixing the extract obtained by extracting SOD-like active ingredient included in the leaf of the Acanthopanax sieboldianum while hardly reducing the amount of the active ingredient. ;SOLUTION: The leaves of Acanthopanax sieboldianum are dipped in boiling water and boiled for several minutes and allowed to stand for further several minutes after extinguishing the fire to extract the Acanthopanax sieboldianum and to obtain the extract thereof, and the extract is added to a solution obtained by heating a jerry raw material comprising an agar, sugar, glucose, water, etc., so as to form a slightly boiling state. The solution with the added extract is flavored by a wine, etc., allowed the pH to be regulated by a pH regulator after extinguishing the fire, and poured into a vessel.
