摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively control flies by impregnating a specific substrate with a culture solution of a specific microorganism, culturing the microorganism, producing conidia and then installing the resultant substrate in a specified place. ;SOLUTION: Beauveria bassiana which is a natural enemy parasitic on flies and killing the flies is cultured in a liquid culture medium by the shaking culture to provide a culture solution. A sterilized stringy substrate is then impregnated with the resultant culture solution and the microorganism is cultured by the shaking culture to produce conidia. The resultant substrate is then installed in a place where flies rest. The flies sit on the substrate to be infected with the natural enemy microorganism and then die. Thereby, the flies can be controlled. For example, a hempen string can be used as the culture substrate. Houseflies, etc., are cited as the flies. For example, a Sabouraud glucose liquid culture medium for adding a yeast extract can be used as the culture medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
