PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a highly metallized reduced iron agglomerate from an iron oxide agglomerate including carbonaceous materials. SOLUTION: This producing method of the highly metallized reduced iron agglomerate is executed by using a moving bed type heating furnace and blowing methane or methane-containing gas on the surface of the iron oxide agglomerate including carbonaceous materials having =1150 deg.C of the surface temp. during moving for the last 1/18-1/3 of the total residence time in the furnace. In such a case, at the time the degree of reduction is =0.7 [(CO+H2 )/(CO+ H2 +CO2 +H2 O] after mixing and decomposing the blown methane or methane- containing gas and fuel gas, the blowing time is the last 1/18-1/9 of the total residence time in the furnace, and at the time the degree of reduction is =0.55, the blowing time is the last 1/18-1/3.
