PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently support maintenance management of a building on a computer by associating management information of a device with drawing and image information and retrieving and displaying drawing and image information which is associated with management information that is currently shown when reference to the drawing and image information is designated. ;SOLUTION: A symbol 141 is attached to a device position in a drawing that is a management object of a management register, the position of each device is highlighted, and a link between the management register and a device in the drawing is realized through the symbol 141. When the management register is referred to from the drawing and a photograph, display is switched to an image 142 of management register that is automatically linked to the symbol 141 by designating the symbol 141 through a mouse operation. When the symbol 141 is specified in a floor plan, display switching is performed from the floor plan to a detailed diagram and a photograph 143 of a symbol part. For instance, it is performed by indicating a target symbol 141 after performing a selection operation of a button 144 or a 'next retrieval' that is provided on an image data screen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
