PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the dirt of an article to be washed simply in a short time only by exposure to discharged water injected from a spout. ;SOLUTION: In the faucet 7 for the kitchen installed around a sink, jet discharged water at high speed and high pressure can be obtained from a spout 11b by forming a jet forming section 13 increasing water discharging pressure from the spout 11b and changing a jet into a strong one at the front end of the spout 11b, and articles to be washed can be washed simply in a short time. When the jet forming section 13 has a hemispherical water chamber 13a at a front end and is formed in a small hole, in which a slender slitty notch is bored at the center of the water chamber 13a, an injection range is widened and approximately uniform water pressure is acquired even in any region of an injection cross section. When a flow regulating member such as a flow regulating net 16, a flow regulating plate 17, etc., is incorporated into the upstream of the jet forming section 13, the flying of spray is reduced.
