PERFORMANCE EVALUATING METHOD FOR COOLING WATER ADDITIVE, SYNTHETIC WATER, AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a test additive with good reproducibility by adding the evaluated additive to the water containing a specific component at a specific concentration range, heating it with a heating water tank, circulating it to a cooling tower, and repeatedly circulating the water collected on its bottom section to the heat water tank. ;SOLUTION: An evaluated additive is added to the synthetic water containing Ca ions about 17.5-70 mg/l as CaCO₃, Mg ions about 17.5-70 mg/l as CaCO₃, SiO₂ about 12.5-50 mg/l, chlorine ions about 21.5-86 mg/l, sulfuric acid ions about 15-60 mg/l, sodium ions about 15-60 mg/l, and potassium ions about 10-40 mg/l to obtain simulated cooling water. It is heated to about 30-50°C by a heating water tank and guided to a cooling tower, and it is sprayed from the apex. The cooled and aggregated simulated cooling water is collected in a lower water tank at the bottom section of the cooling tower, and it is guided into the heating water tank. These actions are repeated for the desired days (2-100 days), and the effect of the evaluated the additive is evaluated.
