PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform management according to software and hardware of the Christian Era information only with lower two digit management and to differentiate 1900 from 2000 in an information processor which performs various information processing by using the Christian Era an date information. ;SOLUTION: This device is provided with a memory part 7, an application processing part 9 which performs processing by using the Christian Era information of lower two digits and a file access controlling part 8 which receives a request from the part 9 and performs data write/read processing in a file format to/from the part 7. It is provided with a deciding part 8a that decides whether or not the Christian Era information shows prescribed post-Christian Era when the part 8 receives a read request for the Christian Era information in a file from the part 9 and a read Christian Era information outputting part 8b which produces the Christian Era information that has identification information which shows the effect and outputs it as read Christian Era information when it is decided that the Christian Era information shows prescribed post-Christian Era.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
