PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly efficient and accurate maintenance and inspection. ;SOLUTION: A data analysis communication unit on the vehicle 1 is connected to a data analysis communication unit at the service center 2 through a communication line 3. The data analysis communication unit on the vehicle 1 is provided with an onboard abnormality determining means 13 which analyzes and determines if there are any abnormalities with sensor group 11 and detected values transmitted therefrom. While, the data analysis communication unit at the service center 2 is provided with an abnormality determining means 23 which independently analyzes and determines the data which has been notified as 'abnormal' by the data analysis communication unit on the vehicle 1. The data analysis communication unit at the service center 2 is further provided with a terminal 25 and is configured so that more specialized determination can be added.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
