HIGH VISION FRAME SYNCHRONIZER WITH AES/EBU AUDIO SEPARATION-MULTIPLEX FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high vision frame synchronizer with an audio processing function such as audio separation and audio multiplexing. SOLUTION: A received HD serial digital interface(SDI) signal is given to an S/P conversion circuit 1, where the signal is converted into a parallel digital video signal. The converted video signal is given to a DMPX circuit 2, in which an AES/EBU signal is demultiplexed from the signal and the signal is outputted externally. Furthermore, the video signal is given to a memory circuit 3, in which/from which the signal is written/read based on a control signal generated by an address circuit 4. The write control signal is produced from the input video signal and the read control signal is generated from a ternary value SYNC that is an external input reference signal. A blanking period of the read video signal is replaced in a process circuit 5 and the result is fed to an MPX circuit 6, in which an externally received AES/EBU audio signal is multiplexed on the video signal. The result is given finally to a P/S conversion circuit 7, where the multiplexed signal is converted into an HD SDI signal and outputted externally.
