PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal roofing exterior material, an exterior material with a solar energy converter, a horizontal roofing exterior material structure, and an exterior material structure with a solar energy converter wherein, in a horizontal roofing exterior material able to minimize the amount of water penetrating into a connection part in eaves direction and having integrally a solar energy converter such as solar cell, power generating efficiency of a solar cell element is not deteriorated even after extended use and the integrity of the material can be maintained. SOLUTION: The horizontal roofing exterior material 1 has a connection receiving part 14 for engagement with a ridge end of a face plate part 11 and an end of eaves and a connection part 13. In this case, waterstop elastic piece 17 whose lower end contacts a lower side exterior material 1 is formed integrally on the part 13 at the eaves end of the part 11. Particularly, in the material 1 integrally including a solar energy converter such as solar cell on the part 11, a resin layer 15 in which the converter is buried and a rear side supporting plate 16 are stacked and the piece 17 is formed integrally in the layer 15 at the eaves end of the plate part 11 and the lower part of the piece 17 contacts the resin layer 15 of the material 1 on the lower side.
