PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection part structure and the connecting method of a multi-core signal cable involving a solderless connector, which can connect a signal cable while confirming the connection of respective wire cores in a hot-line condition. ;SOLUTION: A branch route is formed in the middle of a signal cable during an operation by a solderless connector 2 and is checked by a continuity test or the like as to whether the branched signal cable and the signal cable during operation are connected properly to each other. After that, the signal cable during operation is cut off, to be replaced by the branched signal cable. After a signal cable wire core 1 is connected by the solderless connector 2 such as this, the solderless connector 2 is disposed in a protective case 22, and a connection part is formed by injecting a resin 23 in the protective case 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
