PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely impart prescribed coiling force without generating rubbed flaw, patterns by impression or the like on the surface of multi slit band materials, furthermore, to simplify coiling equipment by unnecessitating a tension imparting device and equipment of a loop pit for receiving sagging in front of a coiler and also to dissolve a fault with use of an expanding/contracting bag body and divided pressing pieces. ;SOLUTION: Plural divided coiling rings 4 are freely attachably and detachably mounted on the outer periphery of the self-expanding-and-contracting shaft 3, long-length grooves 5 in the direction of the axial center having both side-faces inclined in the expanding direction toward the bottom part and forming symmetric angles with both side faces and the bottom part are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the self-expanding-and-contracting shaft 3 and long-length lags 6 which are fit into the grooves 5 and have collar faces 6b having inclined bottom part which are formed from an elastic body having an inclined angle smaller than the angles of both side faces of the groove bottom are provided so as to be freely appeared/retreated by sliding. A continued fluid passage 7 which is communicated to the bottom of the grooves 5 from the end parts of the self-expanding-and-contracting shaft 3 is provided and rotational torque of the self-expanding-and-contracting shaft 3 is transmitted to each divided coiling rings 4 by fluid pressure through the long-length lags 6 for pressing the inner peripheral surface of each divided coiling rings 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
