SEALING METHOD FOR VACUUM DOUBLE STRUCTURAL BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make workability excellent and surely seal an exhaust hole by regulating the horizontal direction of a sealing member by a guide wall, regulating the vertical direction via brazing filler metal between first and second components and sealing the exhaust hole by melting the brazing filler metal and lowering the sealing member after air is discharged. ;SOLUTION: An inner bottle 3 is inserted into a drum body 2b of an outer bottle 2, the mouth parts of the outer bottle 2 and the inner bottle 3 are fixed each other by welding and brazing filler metal 7A is arranged within a recessed part 4 of a bottom plate 2a. A sealing member 6A is arranged on the upper part of the brazing filler metal 7A and closely to the side of a bottom plate part 6a, the bottom plate 2a is arranged at the bottom part opening of the drum body 2b of the outer bottle 2 and a double container 1' is formed by joining the sealing member 6A and the bottom plate 2a by welding. As a result, the sealing member 6A is regulated in the moving of the vertical direction via the brazing filler metal 7A between the bottom part of the recessed part 4 and the bottom part 3a of the inner bottle 3. Subsequently, the brazing filler metal 7A is molten and the sealing member 6A is lowered by gravity and an exhaust hole 5 is sealed after the double container 1' is arranged at a heating furnace and space S between the outer bottle 2 and the inner bottle 3 is evacuated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
