PET BOTTLE VOLUME REDUCING MACHINE HAVING PRELIMINARY COMPRESSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the treatment capacity without increasing the size of a PET bottle volume reducing machine itself, and to smoothly achieve the preliminary compression of an original PET bottle by feeding the original PET bottle into a throw-in chamber of the volume reducing machine body in a preliminarily compressed condition. ;SOLUTION: An original PET bottle A in a receiving hopper 40 is efficiently introduced in a compression position by reciprocating a press roller 47 of a preliminary compression device 4 by a reciprocating device 6. A compressed PET bottle B₂ which is preliminarily compressed by the preliminarrily compression device 4 in advance is fed into a throw-in chamber of the volume reducing machine body to compress the PET bottle into a PET bottle lump, and the compression efficiency of the PET bottle lump D is improved on the volume reducing machine body side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
