PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high sensitivity, high speed recording, heat resistance, and storage stability by a method in which heat elevation is done by applying light energy, a prescribed substituent leaves a basic skeleton, but the basic skeleton is not decomposed, and the molecules of the basic skeleton are rearranged to indicate different molecular structure. ;SOLUTION: If a thin film is formed by a method in which dichlorotin (IV) phthalocyanine is heated before vapor deposition to raise the degree of maintenance, amorphous structure being taken, a subordinate peak near 675 nm becomes unclear and soon disappears, the maximum absorption peak shifts close to 740 nm, absorption increases at about 800 nm or above, a subordinate peak near 382 nm shifts close to 350 nm. As a whole, a broad absorption spectrum including the maximum absorption is obtained. This resembles the profile of the absorption spectrum of a tin (II) phthalocyanine thin film very well. Therefore, dichlorotin (IV) phthalocyanine is converted into tin (II) phthalocyanine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
