PURPOSE:To decrease the number of units of process display terminal devices and to make floor spaces more efficient and costs lower by synthesizing and displaying a hand written emergency message projected by a video camera on the process display screen displayed by the device. CONSTITUTION:The process information (text data) transmitted to a work station (EWS) 14 from a controller a12 is edited in the EWS 14 to the data for displaying the process information which is displayed on the display in the EWS 14. An operator forms a message by hand writing if the emergency message is generated. This message is projected by a TV camera 18 and the hand written emergency projected by this TV camera is digitally converted from NTSC to RGB by a video information processor 19 and is inputted to the EWS14. The hand writter emergency message is synthesized and displayed on the process information under display on the display of the EWS 14 upon inputting of the hand writter emergency message to the EWS14. The synthesized and disposed screen is displayed on the TV monitors 16 installed in respective production departments through an RGBSzNTSC converter 15.
