AGENT FOR ENHANCING BACTERICIDAL POWER, ENHANCING OF BACTERICIDAL POWER, AND BACTERICIDAL DETERGENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for enhancing bactericidal power which not only improves the bactericidal action of a bactericide having cationic static charge without detriment to the cleaning action of a surfactant but also can reduce the feeling of stickiness of the skin to improve the feeling in use by using a sugar alcohol and/or a saccharide as the acting ingredient. ;SOLUTION: A monosaccharide-, oligosaccharide-, or polysaccharide-based one is used as the sugar alcohol and/or a saccharide, and among amt. a 4C or higher one, esp. 5-12C one, is effective, esp. pref. examples being sugar alcohols such as xylitol, sorbitol, and mannitol and saccharides such as glucose and trehalose. This agent for enhancing bactericidal power is used pref. in a wt. of at least 10 times that of a bactericide having cationic static charge, in a wt. of 1-15% of the bactericidal compsn., and in a wt. of 0.5-5 times that of the surfactant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
