High fluidity low heat cement composition and high fluidity low heat cement aqueous slurry

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an aq. slurry having high flowability and high initial strength and to form a hardened body which exhibits high strength at a short-term material's age and a long-term material's age by blending a high belite cement contg. 2CaO.SiO2 and 3CaO.Al2 O3 in a specified proportion with calcium formate. SOLUTION: A high belite cement contg. 40-70 wt.% 2CaO.SiO2 and 1-6 wt.% 3CaO.Al2 O3 is used. The content of calcium formate is 1.0-4.0 wt.% based on the weight of the cement. The cement may contain blast furnace slag powder, fly ash or limestone powder as other mineral component. Calcium formate may be previously incorporated into the cement or may be added to an aq. slurry contg. the cement.
