FLASHING STRUCTURE FOR WATER STOP PLATE GAP PORTION ON RIDGE SIDE OF UNIT TYPE METAL TILE ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily provide a flashing by providing two L-shaped plate- like members on adjacent water stop plates forming a gap in a flashing structure of a gap portion formed by the unit water stop plates on the ridge side of metal tile roof panels in advance. ;SOLUTION: Both side portions of the vertical joint between the water stop plates 3 on the ridge side of metal tile roof panels A, B are cut off by about 10 cm so that a gap of about 20 cm is generated as a whole after hanging. A buried gutter 12 is installed below the metal tiles 7 of the preceding metal tile roof panel A along the vertical edge sections of the metal tile roof panels forming the vertical joint, and a water drip roof stiffener 13 is installed on the succeeding metal tile roof panel B. An inclined back board piece 13a is provided on the drip roof stiffener 13 and extended above the buried gutter 12, and two L-shaped plate-like members having the length to overlap on both adjacent water stop plates 3 forming the gap are fitted. Rain water can be prevent from infiltrating into the vertical joint between the panels.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
