PURPOSE: To select a garaging cage by simple computation procedure. ;CONSTITUTION: In the selecting method of the garaging cages of a sky parking equipment, in which a plurality of the cages C₁-C₈ are driven in a vertical circulation type, the spatial positions of each cage C₁-C₈ are made to correspond on a circumference, and weight vectors B, D rows obtained by multiplying directional vectors toward the positions of each cage C₁-C₈ from the center of rotation O and car weight garaged into each cage C₁-C₈ are used as a synthetic vector A.
