PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic machining device and a method for closely arranging a sheet material on the ultrasonic machining device, by which the sheet material can be easily and closely arranged on a workbench without previously cutting the sheet material, and the sheet material can be reliably fused, welded and melted into the specified shape. ;SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic machining device for a sheet material, provided with a mold 40 in which the specified-shaped machining blade 41 is provided on the front surface, and an ultrasonic wave generator 60 provided with a radiation port 70 to be brought in contact with a sheet material to be closely arranged on the mold 40, and for ultrasonic-machining the sheet material into the shape of a machining blade 41 provided on the mold 40 by moving the mold 40 or the ultrasonic wave generator 60, sheet fixing base tables 80 and sheet pressing members 81 to be magnetically attracted and for pinching the sheet material are provided on at least one side of the mold 40.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
