PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the vertical conveyance of a seedling tray in ≥1 pitch of a pot part. ;SOLUTION: This transplanter is constituted so that a rachet arm 86 is pushed up by a joining part 75a on rotating an acting member in the reverse of a vertically conveying direction (A), and then a vertical conveyance gear 80 is rotated in a vertically conveying direction (A) until a joined part 86a of the rachet arm 86 joins with a next joining tooth 80a on rotating the acting member in the vertically conveying direction for conveying a seedling tray vertically by one pitch of a pot part. In this case, a feed stopping mechanism 95 is installed therein so as to regulate the rotation of a vertically conveying driving shaft in the vertically conveying direction (A) by joining with the vertically conveying gear 80, when the joining of the rachet arm 86 with the joining tooth 80a of the vertically conveying gear 80 is released, and to be released from the vertically conveying gear 80 for allowing the above rotation, when the vertically conveying driving shaft and the vertically conveying gear 80 are rotated by the acting member in the vertically conveying direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
